Namaskar

If you have a claim for the year of Rama-Ravana Yuddha (and hence Ramayana) or for the year of Mahabharata Yuddha that is different than 12209 BCE (Ramayana) and 5561 BCE (Mahabharata) and if you would like to debate the date with Yours truly, you must provide the following information by commenting to this blog article.

The information should include:

In the case of Ramayana claim:

1. The year of Rama-Ravana Yuddha [specify the reference year employed, e.g. Gregorian vs Julian]
2. The day (date, month and year in the reference system) of Ravana Vadha
3. The day of Rama-Janma
4. The day of Rama-Sita Vivah
5. The day Rama left for Vanavas

6. The day Bharata met Rama at Chitrakuta

7. The day Rama killed Khara

8. The day Rama killed Vali

9. Days when Hanuman was in Lanka

10. The day Rama/Laxmana/Sugriva left from Kishikndha for Lanka

11. The day Rama returned (after killing Ravana) to the ashrama of Sage Bharadwaj

12.. The day Rama met Bharata & coronation of Rama

In the case of Mahabharata claim:

  1. The year of the Mahabharata War (specify Julian or Gregorian reference employed)
  2. The 18 days of the Mahabharata war (e.g. 16 Oct – 2 Nov 5561 BCE – Julian reference calendar)
  3. The day Krishna left from Upaplavya on the peace mission, towards Hastinapur
  4. The Lunar tithi and Lunar month of the first day of the MB War (e,g, Amavasya, last day of Kartika)
  5. The day of Bhishma Nirvana (e.g. 31 January 5560 BCE)

Email your book or paper(s) to DrNO.5561BCE@gmail.com.

The original researcher with a claim must initiate this correspondence. Communication from all other individuals will be disregarded (unless an explanation is attached with the signature of the original researcher explaining his/her inability to write).

At this stage, we have minimum information to proceed further. We will do the required pre-work before the debate (theory, the scope for evidence, background assumptions, and agreement on background assumptions, objective testing, logical inferencing, defining the scope of the debate, format, duration, number of rounds, etc.)

If all of the above conditions are satisfied, I will do my best (no assurance or guarantees are offered) to work with the various available platforms (e.g. Sangam Talks, Jaipur Dialogues, Sattolgoy, others) to set up a debate (or a series of debates) which will be held on camera, uncut and unedited and will be broadcasted (live or afterward) via YouTube and other such mediums.

Warm regards,

Nilesh Oak
